Don’t bring your Animals here. I showed up because a pit bull attacked my dog and he was bleeding bad, with gaping wounds. and this woman said as you can see I have three cars lined up outside, your name isn’t in the system, I would try glen carbon. Unacceptable. Absolute neglect. And did not care at all that a paying customer was there in an emergency. Never bring your animals here.

I started taking my dog here about 1 1/2 yrs ago after being extremely unhappy with the attitude and price gouging of my previous vet. The experience here has been very wonderful. Staff has been extremely friendly, even with having to handle my dog who doesn't enjoy vet visits. Pricing is very fair imo and much more affordable than other practices. They don't feel pushy with trying to upsell you things. Recently I had a little emergency with my dog and they were able to get him in that day to see him. Huge thanks to Dr Rathmann and the staff for helping out! She even called after a few days to check in. 10/10 vet and worth the drive from Edwardsville.

Currently a comprehensive exam for your pet is $42. Depending on exam findings and clinical signs, we can provide you a more detailed cost of treatment for diagnostics and treatments during your office visit. Each case is unique so it is hard to tell you what the total cost would be.
There is a lot of variation in the total cost of a dental cleaning. Typically antibiotics are started 3 days prior to the sedative procedure. The cost of the antibiotics depends on the dose, which depends on your pet's weight. Cost for the dental procedure can also vary by the severity of dental disease, if any teeth (and which teeth) need to be pulled, and duration of anesthesia. The best way to get a cost of treatment for a dental cleaning for your pet, is to schedule an office visit. An office visit is $42. At that time, we can provide a detailed cost of treatment and prescribe the needed antibioitics to start 3 days prior to the dental. Please call 618-664-0640 to schedule an appointment.
