Came in because I needed my watch resized because it was too big. They were very professional and very very fast.

Requested work done on a necklace which had three pendants I wanted to attach to chain. One of the pendants needed a ring applied to where it would sit on the chain. Employee recommended a 3mm ring. Upon examining the necklace more in the store, I asked employee if it would be a good idea to replace the ring (which looked weak) directly attached to the clasp AND the ring on the other side in which the clasp attached to. He thought that would be a good idea and said they’d make it happen. I return to three 3mm rings now a part of the necklace. Only problem was the three pendants could not be applied to the chain as the 3mm rings attached to the pendant could not slide past the 3mm ring now at the end of the chain. My assumption when purchasing was that the employee, schooled in all things jewelry, would have understood you’d either need to affix the pendants on the chain before applying the 3mm on the ends OR use smaller rings for the ends of the chain. Employee understood that when picking it up and replied, “I don’t know why he did it that way,” leading me to believe he was as confused as I regarding why the jeweler did it incorrectly. He said it would be fixed. Fast forward to the next morning, I return to pick up to see the jeweler who worked on necklace helping a customer and a guy named Mike at the register. I explained the situation to Mike requesting a partial refund as I was charged for three 3mm rings, which would not have been required to do what I requested. The jeweler overheard, snickered and replied, “No! No! No! Don’t be that way. You know what you asked for.” Wrong buddy. Mike was very kind and explained he would allow for a partial refund. He did say it could take a period of time and he would call me when he had more information. Original purchase was on 7/19. I called for follow up on 7/25 and Mike reiterated their refund process takes awhile and he would follow up with more information. Fast forward to today 9/7 with no refund in hand and no reply from Mike. It’s only $45, but truly it’s about the principle of doing the right thing by the customer when I have been nothing but respectful until this point. Worst part is...the necklace broke again in August because of this jeweler’s poor repair skills. While I see a lot of good reviews of this place, I do not recommend it to anyone. Tell me why I simple refund takes months. I have never experienced this at any retail store.
