My mother has been at Brookdale Rocky Mount for a month and is receiving compassionate, positive, and supportive care from staff across the board. Gentle kindness and personal connection along with laughter and quick response to her needs has been consistent. Mama loves the food, too! She enjoys the daily exercise classes that help her stay active and the social contact of being with others in a positive setting. Our family is most grateful for the great job that folks there deliver each day.

My dad is the administrator there and although I don’t go there alot (3 times per year [?]) but every time I do the staff seems very friendly. Overall, best assisted living in Rocky Mount. πŸ€˜πŸ»πŸ’―πŸ€™πŸ»

There are no words to express adequately my gratitude this Thanksgiving for the exceptional care which has been provided to my Father during his last days and to my Mother as she continues to receive care at Brookdale. The loving patience and kindness of the staff is incredible. The activities director has a way of getting people involved in an excellent array of daily experiences. Each individual is seen as a whole and their skills, interests, and talents are channeled creatively within the community. How marvelous it was to see the plants given in memory of my father planted just outside my Mom's window. How exciting it was to see the video of my Mom at work in the library at Brookdale using some of the skills she had used in her career. The guidance we have received from Brian and Tammy in particular have helped us as a family so much. As my Father would say, "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you."

Questions & Answers

There seems to be no way to get the message across that the quality of the food is unacceptable and that dietary needs are ignored.
