Best Cajun north of the Big Easy! Awesome staff and owners. Make sure you take advantage of taste-testing and don’t forget the add ins (honestly sour cream and cheese goes with EVERYTHING!). And their bread? Ridiculous.

Locally owned franchise, owners work in the store. Great Cajun themed menu offering from mild spice to hot. Vegetarian option available. Lovely decor, reasonable pricing, satisfying food. A great lunch time stop.

Amazing meal! We’ve never experienced a gumbo/Creole focused restaurant. The staff was awesome! They allowed us a small taste test to determine what we would enjoy. Ultimately, the food was hot and tasty! I will 100% add J. Gumbo’s to my “must-see” list when traveling in central Indiana.

Great place for Cajun food in town And a cool Atmosphere. I Like the combo option of getting two different flavors in one dish. There's also a half size option which is around $5.50. Always get the garlic bread. Really cool back bar area, relaxing and very Louisiana Bayou feel. The atmosphere inside is really neat, cool Louisiana scenery and artwork. Like the quick-serve option of getting your food and sitting down. They have some nacho options with I need to try Soon. Students get a discount with their ID. Closed on Mondays.
