One of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Service was absolutely wonderful. Constantly checking on us, giving more drink refills. Could not have asked for better. Food was outstanding! Sea scallops completely melted in your mouth, super buttery. Lobster Mac and cheese was exactly how I liked it. Thick, not soupy at all. Wonderful cheese flavors. Cesar salad was a little salty for my liking but still fresh and good. Truffle fries were super crispy and fresh. Overall, a wonderful very luxurious feeling to this place and the food and would definitely return.

Friendly professional staff and very good food. My steak was cooked a perfect medium which is actually hard to find these days. Only thing I would actually improve on was I think their location has limited parking and is on street. 9 out of 10

4 adults and 2 kids under age 5. The wait staff was wonderful, esp. To our grandbabies who had been traveling several hours from Kansas City. The food was delicious, presentation great. Restaurant VERY CLEAN. Staff clean cut and very friendly. Prices are high, but for what you get, worth it! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Chris was very knowledgeable about the food, spirits, and wine. I was expecting a modest lunch and was surprised by the price. I judge a restaurant based off of several factors, one is the host. The host seemed aloof, but she was polite. Chris the server saved the restaurant. He was not only tending bar he was a server. Very polite and respectful. I also grade the restaurant based on the size of the menu. As a rule, if there is a smaller menu the chef takes pride in his work, which was apparent by the eclectic options. This place is not ideal for people who are gluten free. The chef does not make substitutions. However, this is a sign he is meticulous about food pairing and choosing the right ingredients. I ordered the lentils vegan options. The combination of the spices satisfied the pallet with a contrast of robust seasonings and textures. I did not award J Ford's Black Angus more than 4 stars because of the lack of gluten free options and the unwelcoming host. To pay more than $40 on a vegan meal and coffee I expect everyone to be more accommodating.
