We recently had a chimney fire and were in dire need of a new stove and install as it was January and wood is our primary source of heat. Due to factory shutdowns (covid) and lack of inventory, we were forced to go out of the area to purchase our stove, but fortunate to have Anderson's install it. I contacted Kaleb (Missoula) and Jim (manager of the Kalispell store) and received the best customer service! Jim was able to get an estimate done for us within two days, and fortunately for us, they had a cancellation and were able to fit us in to their schedule the following week. We could not have had a better experience. Our install crew were terrific. They were extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I could tell we were in good hands. After nearly having a larger tragedy, we were extremely thankful to have a capable and competent install crew. The next project involves installing a gas burning stove in another part of the house and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else - we couldn't be more happy with our service.

Do you have a way to repair wood stove top crack?

The best option for any crack in a wood burning appliance is to replace the unit. The crack will only grow bigger over time and use. A weld may hold for a time, but anyone who welds on it is accepting all liability for the unit should it fail. You will be hard pressed to find a certified welder willing to accept that.
