Went there for an X ray. Insurance said it is covered with no co-pay. They said they were a blue shield provider. LIED. Then they supposedly billed me anyway but I never got a bill, but half a year later they are saying I owe them with interest. Wouldn't drop it. Couldn't reason with them. Also why wouldnt they charge me at the time i came in if i owed them something? So they can pretend to bill you later, harass you, and then charge you interest I guess. Threatened to send it to collections if I didn't pay them. Basically extortion. They are soulless, money hungry, evil bureaucrats, and I doubt they care what anyone thinks of them, honestly.

My dad recently mentioned how smooth his appointment went with El Portal Imaging. Starting with Tamika in the lobby directing him where to go for his appointment. He said they actually took him a few minutes before his scheduled appointment time.

I called to let them know I would be late for my appointment. I need my left hip and right knee replaced and every step was agonizing. I was told if I wasn't there by 15 mins past my appointment time, then my appointment would be canceled. I arrived at 20 mins past. The front desk gal and another lady from downstairs, where you pick up your images helped me in and asked me where I was going. I told them about my appointment upstairs and what they said about being late. One of those gals called upstairs to find out my appointment was canceled. She tells them to get me in, right away, that she couldn't imagine what it took for me to get there. She was right. I was so thankful to them both and touched, however, I never had a chance to really, really thank them. To the two ladies who helped me that day(I had a black and white border collie service dog with me) thank you so much. Your kindness really was appreciated.
