Honestly if I could I would give them zero stars because I went in there with a infection in my thumb it was so bad that it was 4x bigger and pus coming out an a huge abscessed full of pus and all they did was give me some oral antibiotics and inflammatory if I hadn’t gone to Fairfield medical centers I probably would’ve lost my thumb this hospital should’ve even be working with people they obviously don’t know how to do their job. If you need to go to the hospital an your in Logan DONT go to hocking valley for anything the will waste your time an always do the minimum they don’t care about their patients some needs to do something before more people get hurt because they have no idea how to do anything

Claim to care about safety and hypocritical enforcing mask policy while not wearing them. Very hypocritical and unsafe.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience. They helped us quickly every step of the way. The staff was extremely kind and made us very comfortable.

Went out to your er because my foot had a bruise and swelling. The doctor comes in looks at it and says he would see what the x-ray's said. After he looked at the x-rays he comes in and said he could not find anything wrong. He told me to just not walk on it alot and said he did not think there was any infection.my question is how would he know there is no infection just by looking at it don't you need to do blood work to find that out. Also I set inmy room way over an hour could not find a nurse to go to the bathroom or get a drink. This is by far the worse trip to your er in a long time.

Questions & Answers

Are you providing covid-19 vaccine?

Cindy Dunn | Sep 30, 2021
Hocking Valley Community Hospital | Sep 30, 2021

Hello Cindy, HVCH has been approved by the Ohio Department of Health to be a vaccine provider. HVCH is continuing to work on setting up the vaccination clinic. Once the details of the clinic are finalized, we will share that information on our hospital website as well as our social media channels. Other approved providers in Hocking County are as follows: Hocking County Health Department, Hopewell Health Centers, Shriver Pharmacy and Kroger Pharmacy. There is not one centralized location where an individual can go to sign up for a vaccination. Each vaccine provider will have their own process to schedule someone to receive the vaccine. We will notify the public soon as to how to sign up for our clinic. Thanks for the question!

Are they connected to OSU hospital

Cathy Smith | Sep 30, 2020
Hocking Valley Community Hospital | Sep 30, 2020

Hi Cathy, HVCH collaborates with OSU Wexner Medical Center to offer certain services to our patients closer to home, such as our outpatient ophthalmology clinic. We also share the same electronic health record platform as OSU, which means any records of visits or tests at HVCH are available to practitioners at OSU. We are not, however, an affiliate of OSU Wexner Medical Center.
