Have a leak in the basement. I can't even get someone to answer the emergency line to shut the water off. I have called at least 200 times. One time someone answered. She was rude and directed my call to customer service which put me on hold for 20 minutes and then it hung up. I called the fire department and they came out and shut my water off that day. I had a plumber fix the issue, and now I have to have the water company inspect the new pipe to be able to turn my water back on. I haven't had water for four days and I can't get anyone to answer the phone. The absolute worst customer experience I've had in my life.

The bill pay website hasn’t been working for a while now. You will pay a bill and it won’t post the charge, regardless of waiting for the charge to go through. It’s happened the last three payments. I’ve been trying to speak to customer service after work, so 2:30-5pm and have been on hold upwards of two hours and sometimes after being on hold for over an hour the call will just cut out. Just awful service overall.

Absolutely the worst ever. Set up a payment arrangement and they still shut you off. Literally the worst kind of people

I have no water since 8 am. From windward farms off of Holt Road

Yes. The moratorium on turn off ended August 23, 2021 and letters regarding delinquent accounts resumed normal shut off
Whitehall owns line, contracts Columbus to repair them. Bang the drum with the Ciry of Whitehall to improve infrastructure! Any outages are private-line related or due to Whitehall's very old water lines.
Call 645-8276 (Water customer service) and request a pressure test for a possible leak on your water service. No charge for it, but possible water isn't surfacing making a leak obvious. Be prepared to wait on hold due to long call wait times. Current phone system issues at Dept. Public Utilities...not the rep's fault when you get through. Avoid calling mondays.

Usually, this would be for Emergency Repair work, new buildings connecting to the main waterline alongside the public road, or if they had scheduled maintenance (and mailed out notices for the planned water outage), right? If a sink is running without ceasing for several days, they might temporarily shut off service. This might have happened a few decades ago when my family went on vacation, then couldn't turn on the water. The 311 call center or the City of Columbus website (Public Utilities section) might be able to confirm the general situation or your current situation.
