They only accept donations, which go for sale in the store or are sent to prisoners for their education and self betterment as part of their community outreach.
I'm not sure if they pick up but I know that you can definitely drop them off. They go to a great cause that is books for prisoners. Also if you go and drop some off, take a look around; Open Books always has a unique selection that is constantly changing. The staff is very nice and friendly and love books themselves.
No. But local authors are welcome to do book signings and sell their books at the event.
Yes. The inmate needs to write us a letter and make a request for the books that they want.
