This place is amazing. I went through the program and graduated still sober 3 years later. It's not the staff or people who work there it's what you do with your time and do what the counselors tell you to do. Theres always bs any place you go. So if your reading the reviews please don't always BELIEVE what u read or hear.

Poorly run. Seems like administration is incompetent. Don’t get the help you need. Beware people if you are looking for real, professional help with your addiction.

This place should be shut down! The neglect of the staff is what lead to my cousins death! She was so sick with covid she couldn’t eat or walk and they neglected to admit her to the hospital until it was too late!!! Shame on you! I pray that no one else’s life is lost due to the neglect of this place!!! Do NOT send your loved ones here! I truly believe if my beautiful cousin was taken care of properly she would still be with us today!

The Detox Center and The Long-Term Resisential Program are good. But if you're going to the Short-Term Residential Program, please go somewhere else. The Short-Term Residential Program doesnt care about your well-being, your recovery, your safety, or your sobriety post-completion. You will have no support. There are individual staff that want to help in whatever way they can, but they are so overworked and burnt out that they cant help anyone after a while. Everything will be against you in the Short Term Residential program.

Do dey strip search people

I've never seen them strip search anyone. They make you empty your pockets and they go through your belongings. The program is voluntary. They can't make you do anything. You have to want to get sober.

For treatment services (Medically Supported Detox, Short Term Residential, Long Term Housing/ Intensive Outpatient), we accept Medicaid, Medicare and uninsured; there is no out of pocket cost to the client. Services at OHL's Community Health Center do have nominal charges; however, we are health care professionals who believe that quality healthcare should be an inherent right of all individuals regardless of ability to pay. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and Self Pay/Sliding Fee Scale. Individuals who are uninsured at the time of their visit are eligible to apply for our sliding fee scale discount. We also assist individuals in accessing healthcare resources. We are a designated Medicaid Application Center and can assist individuals with applying for Medicaid. Services will be offered to individuals regardless of ability to pay.

Odyssey House | Sep 30, 2020

Hi Michelle, you can find a list of allowed/non-allowed items for each residential program on our website: www.ohlinc.org. Select the program from the "Services" listing and once you are on the program page, you'll see "Client Information" on the right hand column.

Please explain why people are freezing and why you are not including families in your "holistic approach,"?? Shelter or rehab?? Are the staff not adequately prepared to deal with people to who need help? Or is rude and obnoxious their job??
