Our family of 5 ate there for dinner. Waited a long time for our waitress. By the time she came to the table we were ready to order everything. Drinks, apps and entree’s. Strictly talking food… apps were good . Entrees were mediocre. I ordered a glass of wine that still hadn’t arrived by the time I was almost done with dinner. I was going to tell her to just skip it at this point but a food runner ended up bringing it. We saw our waitress twice. Once to order and once to bring our check. The food runners filled our waters and the kids soda’s. When she dropped the check, my husband was surprised. The soda’s were 6.00 apiece ( 3 kids) and we were charged for 8 of them. Soda prices were not listed on the menu and as the food runners continued to refill soda, never once said anything. My husband very politely inquired about the charge and her response was so awful and completely demeaning… about how we were ,” in sag harbor during the summer”. My husband quietly nodded, signed the check and we left. He left her no tip… my husband has NEVER done that as he managed fine dining restaurants for years. Upon returning home he checked our credit card statement and was not surprised to find that they added a fifty dollar tip themselves. We are disputing
