Decided to hit this spot in lieu of Starbucks for breakfast on our way for a road trip. Not my first time there but I seem to always forget about them, I think it’s because the location and signage is set back off the road on Belvedere. Be on the lookout. Food was terrific and coffee is amazing. Grabbed some empeñadas and café con leche along with some cookies, pastries, and Cuban bread and butter for the road. Yes, Cuban bread and butter - so gooooood! This place never disappoints. I highly recommend.

I grew up visiting the Tulipan bakery. I highly recommend the fresh-squeezed orange juice, croquetas and guava pastries. Everything else is very bland.

The bistec sandwich was so flavorless i thought i had covid. No seasoning at all. It was so weird and bland beyond belief. The pastries all looked old and dried up or overbaked. The servers were surly and everything took forever. Not a good Cuban bakery..
