Terrible experience here - as other reviews have stated, this restaurant is more focused on takeout. The staff was rude to the point of hostile and we felt so disrespected that we left and ate at Salt. I would not go back here.

The Commander is from Charleston, South Carolina and came to Shelter Island in 1952. He is the oldest of 10 and left school in the fourth grade to work and help his father.
Masks are required inside. Surfaces are frequently disinfected.
We do not accept reservations. We are a fish market and specialize in takeout food. Our outdoor seating is open on a first come, first serve basis and there are four tables available. We serve light lunch menu from 12-2:30pm and our full dinner menu & family style 4pm-8pm.
