Without a doubt this bookstore was the highlight of not only my day, but also the brief and impromptu trip I took to Buffalo. It caught my eye & from that moment ALL I wanted was to go inside. Once inside I was greeted so pleasantly. There was an AMAZING selection of new & old books! Whilst chatting it up & never once feeling pushed to buy anything (not just the mark of a good salesmen kinda thing, but rather one of a wonderful human who simply also enjoys books) I was wonderfully assisted in finding various titles that peaked my interest. Some authors I was previously familiar with as well as many I wasn’t, but through light/yet expansive chatting about theory, social media, psychology, hometowns etc… great (highly desired & solicited) recommendations were made. My ONLY wish is that this true gem was located near me. So if you find yourself in the area definitely stop by! The prices range from absolutely grand (how could you not type prices) to truly reasonable & it is so very important to support local book stores!

Excellent selection of new and previously released eclectic subject matter. And the Waffles are delicious! Now, with the sweet new rear Patio open for the summer, you can enjoy your Coffee and a delicious Waffle while taking in some nature and a beautiful view of some of Buffalo's great downtown architecture! Now serving ice cream and sorbet also.

There seems to be a couple versions of this work equating the wisdom of Tom Sawyer. It would be best to contact the bookstore directly to ascertain it's availability.
There is on street parking all along Ellicott Street and a lot ($3 to $8 depending on the time of day) across the street. Note that we are closed on Sundays. Hope you make it in!
