The driver side door on my 2012 Honda Pilot would not open. Brought my car to Firestone and was told I would have to pay approximately $135 dollars for diagnostic testing to determine what was causing the problem. Branford Firestone determined there was an issue with the exterior door handle. The handle needed replacing. There are no aftermarket parts for the door handle; Honda is the only supplier. Firestone called Honda; however, Honda did not have the part in stock. The part was on back order and there was no ETA regarding when the handle would be in stock. Needless to say, I was not very happy. Here I was spending almost $150 on a diagnostic fee and my car was not repaired. Jeremy, the manager of the store, overheard me and inquired to find out why I was unhappy. Once he heard my situation, he completely waived the fee. He said Firestone is not about taking money from customers without providing service. They want their customers to be happy and he would cover the cost of his technician. Truth be told, I always take my car to the dealer for repairs and maintenance. This was the first time I took my car to someone other than the dealer. I was very hesitant to take my car to Firestone but after the experience I had today, Firestone has earned my business. When the door handle becomes available, I will have Firestone make that repair as well as all other future repairs that are needed to my Pilot. I would like to thank Jeremy for demonstrating true customer service. His actions have gained Firestone a new customer.

This location is incredibly honest, and the store manager Mike is always so helpful and cares about his customers. My wife needed an oil change on her mother's birthday, and we had a sudden trip the next day. Unfortunately, as he inspected the car, he had found that we needed new brake pads, and one caliper had seized up. Thank God he had discovered this before our trip because we would have had no clue what could have happened. If you ever need a mechanic, you can trust this is the place to go.
