Getting rid of electronics nowadays can be a real hassle, but E Waste made it so simple. Andrea was so friendly, polite and helpful to my mom who was trying to discard the old 60" big screen. We put the tv in the car, drove 20 mins, and Andrea took the tv right out of the car. My mom didn't have to do anything except take the $11.00 out of her wallet. I will definately keep them in mind for the next TV/electronic drop off! Thank you Andrea!

Unfortunately, no we have to charge to cover the costs. Pennsylvania lawmakers changed the law without a proper solution to manage the recycling of televisions. Unfortunately we can't accept Microwave ovens due to the magnetron inside. Most magnetrons have beryllium oxide (beryllia) ceramic insulators, which are dangerous if crushed and inhaled, or otherwise ingested. My recommendation would be to reach out to your local municipality as microwaves are not covered under the PA CDRA. Thanks for asking!
