Al's sharpening has been sharpening my blades and bits and planer knives for over 25 years and every single thing has been perfectly done and razor sharp and always at a very reasonable cost. Steve is super helpful with all sorts of things and has gone out of his way to help me out of some jams in the past. Great crew, great service, great products too. I hope they never go away.

So I had a set of Ginsu knives that were really old and needed sharpening. They had an inverted scallop type of serration and according to their own website, the knives "never needed to be sharpened", but that was clearly false. Took them over to Al's and the owner sharpened them AND removed the serrations. Got them back a week later, whole knife set (6 dinner knives, chef's knife, bread knife, filet knife, vegetable knife, and secondary knife) wa only $64, just a little bit more for the sharpening. Would definitely come back again, they did a good job.
