These wonderful and precious people are like family to us. They were there for us when my husband had his kidney transplant and provided us with a home away from home during this wonderful but stressful time. They rate right up there with SHRINERS FOR CHILDREN. God Bless each one of them for the Love and Care they show each and everyone that comes through their doors. The House is clean, neat, positive and conducive to healing. A great to recuperate and heal. Our daughter and her family had the same experience when she had her pancreas transplant. The children love to visit while their mother is there for follow up visits. A wonderful place to give your support to. Everyone is made to feel welcome and loved. They provide several services available to you while you are there.

I can't express my thanks enough. Every detail is given for the comfort and care of patients and their caregivers. On arrival, Olivia greeted us and gave a brief orientation. We were shown a kitchen which was well stocked with numerous snacks, cereals, and the ability to cook if you like. Coffee and breakfast bags are available in the morning's, as is Pamela, helping everyone find what they need even if it's just a friendly word. Tyree's Kids, Thank You so very much! It is amazing how much work you do. Thank you to the donors who provide evening meals. Art and pet therapy are available on certain days of the week. The rooms are large and clean. There is a Chapel and a library, in addition to a laundry room. The outdoor areas are tranquil and peaceful with a small koi pond and a larger lily pad pool area. Thank you for helping us during this difficult time.

What is the cost per night to stay there?

They go by income but I think, don't take my word without asking them, but it's $45 or $65 a night is the max per night. We paid $15 a night because l had the only income for a family of 4. Most every morning and evening someone volunteers from from all different places to cook breakfast and supper for the people who are staying there.

No pets except a special service dog policy. They do have semi-weekly animal visits. You can have 1 person stay with you for support, and 2 additional registered visitors.
