I love walking at the reservoir. The trails are very nicely maintained. There are gorgeous views of the lake, lots of places to picnic, and decks overlooking the lake. It makes a great place to walk, fish, or boat anytime of the year. It's a solid 2.25 mi if you walk the entire trail around the reservoir.

Is the greenway trail paved?

vangmountain | Oct 1, 2018

No it is not paved and thankfully so. It's mostly sand on top of packed clay so it makes for low impact running and walking. Good on the joints. The trail is about 5 ft wide and is heavily used. Biking is allowed on the trail. 10 mph max speed. This is probably the safest and most utilized greenway in the area.
