The place i went to was high security and was strictly for battered and abused women. The give you 30 days of communal living with other battered and abused women. You must follow their strict rules and are treated more like a criminal then a victim. The staff feel very condescending. However, with that said they do have the resources that can help help you if you are coming from an abusive situation. They are there strictly to give you directions. Not sympathy or empathy. But can help you if nowhere else to go.
