I have a few family and friends that are buried here. It's a real nice cemetery

Beautiful place. I have loved ones and friends that have been played to rest here. It is also a peaceful place to walk.it has a nice pond with ducks, turtles, fish and a water feature you can enjoy. The majority of the staff are friendly. I would say walking in numbers is safe or away from the secluded areas, as I have seen men walk into or out of the woods on more than one occasion.

Yes we recently decided to say thank you by offering a free space to veterans who do not already own at Holly Hill, have been honorably discharged and have a DD-214. Our memorials for veterans and their spouses have a built in discount as well. If you have any other questions feel free to call us @ 336-472-7455

Can u bury someone's ashes In a plot u already own,if so can u just dig a hole yourself,if so how deep.

Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery | Sep 30, 2021

No problem Walter, short answer is no. Digging or any other work or alterations can only be performed by a licensed and insured, Holly Hill employee. It is a criminal offense for anyone other than Holly Hill to dig on the hallowed cemetery property. There are many legal and practical reasons for this. Having anyone come out and start digging without knowing where all the current burials and lot pins are, would not only be irresponsible and disrespectful but also illegal. Holly Hill has a very strict records policy as you may imagine to make sure everyone is laid to rest in the right location and can be found for generations to come. We have many checks and balance systems in place to ensure this accuracy. When you consider we have over 10,000 residents laid to rest here it is mind-boggling for most people to imagine organizing and keeping accurate records on a number like this and over a 70 plus year time span to boot. Please call so we can go over your options.
