Great spot for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, man biking. Park in the gravel staging area. There is a small boat ramp in the parking area. Hiking trailhead starts to the left of boat ramp. Lush forest trail lining the waters edge. Not a great place to swim. Perfect place to explore and enjoy.

The trail was amazing, and the trees made it perfect on a 95° day. I totally recommend this hike if you're in the area, and are looking for things to do. The shortest trail is roughly 4.7 miles. Keep right on all turns

The West Side of the Reservoir is approx 1.5 miles from the parking lot out to Oak Grove Church Rd. So roughly 3 miles there and back or you can make a full loop for a little more than 3 miles also by following Oak Grove Church Rd a little ways just past the guard rails to get back on the trail on the east side of the Reservoir and the cross over the spillway back to the parking lot. Various little loops exist where you can add to those totals as well possibly.
