We had our reception here for our wedding in Nov 2018. We booked the venue back in June 2017 and worked with Chelsea up until she left a week before the wedding. She passed my info to the venue’s client - Nicole. The venue was suppose to set up my tables, chairs, and dance floor day prior to event. It was not - we set everything up on own (46+ tables, 500 chairs, dance floor, and bars). I missed my dad's memorial prayer bc I had to stay back and set it up. 8 tables had rusted or broken hinges so last minute, I had to call Gala affairs. Nicole reimbursed me for the tables but that's something I shouldn't have had to handle if it was originally set up as stated in the email (2 years worth of emails). Nicole and I later talked through email after the wedding: she states she understood my frustration and states she's sorry but dismissed me. She states she tried her best to accommodate my issues. Only thing she accommodated was the table issue. I kindly asked to speak to owner and she dismissed that request. She said owner was kind of refund my deposit but if it was to her, she wouldn't have refunded me at all. I should’ve been refunded for the entire payment but she dismissed that as well. I'm really disappointed in how it was all handled and treated after Chelsea left. Very disappointed. I had to warn a fellow client who already booked the venue as well.
