Great local BBQ joint in the heart of BBQ country. Super friendly service, generous portions, hearty food - everything a meat and three should be. I had BBQ with homestyle potatoes and pintos. BBQ was vinegar based, tender, perfectly cooked. Potatoes were a recco and right on. Pintos we're probably prepared in fatback or bacon so no complaints here. Only wish I'd saved room for pecan pie.

Burnt Ends

I stopped in for some Lexington BBQ while on I-85. I normally go to the usual places, but was in a hurry and made this very easy stop. I am so glad I did. Picked up BBQ pork, hushpuppies, and red slaw. We finished the hushpuppies on the way home, but the star was the pork! Best I've had in years. 5 stars, you have to stop!
