Only 3 stars because facility is nice. I am so sick and tired of the hours being weird and the place being closed. Every other time I come here it’s closed early or for holiday or new hours. I’ve been going here my entire life heck I even worked as a lifeguard in college so I am no stranger to the JCC and it’s just getting really old. The pool hours suck during September they are only open 4-6:30 what good does that do for me and my family!? Most people work til 5! And this is a facility for fitness it should have hours through the night and hire people who can change shifts. Come on? Tired of making excuses for this place to my wife - she’s right it’s too expensive for what you actually get and you can see that reflected in their inability to staff people for the pool and their short hours that the gym is open. Not to mention they raised their prices ? Seriously ? If this place wasn’t so close I would never go here. I love the people that work here I’ve been here since I was a little kid at camp mindy but as a full grown adult this is horrendous. Change/Extend the gym hours for Pete sakes especially Friday…. Religious belief is a poor excuse for having bad hours and I’m Jewish so yes I get it , there’s traditions but what about members who aren’t Jewish - people will never join here if they can’t update hours and operations to accommodate more people. I can’t tell you how many late nights I wanted to work out knowing I had no option at the jcc but to wait til morning. Also- keep the pool open for September. Just because camp is closed and it doesn’t benefit your establishment to have the pool staffed properly another month doesn’t mean we the members who pay very hefty membership fees should have to suffer. I am angry but I never act on it from embarrassing my family and myself but this is just ridiculous to me. I know there’s traditions and only so Much that can be done but please read this and consider making some serious changes to your facility operation. You guys can talk about me in your next meeting :)

Clean,safe and secure. JCC does an excellent job in all facets of providing services to it’s members. Aquatics under Josh are top notch.
