We had water damage in our finished basement and needed the flooring replaced. Trying to move quickly to gather quotes/estimates, I called Avalon flooring. I was informed right away that we would need to come into the store and place a 50% deposit before they would measure and provide an estimate. The lady I spoke with had a rude tone and that made me feel like we wouldn't have a good experience in the store. All I needed was a rough quote to know if Avalon's pricing would be competitive, and if it would be worth our time to come in to the store.

Many of our products do have samples that can be brought home. Depending on the product, you may be able to take those samples home the same day, or we may have to ship them to your home. For example, for hardwood, laminate, and vinyl we offer $5 samples that can be shipped directly to your home, while carpet samples are often available in store for customers to take home.

We offer stretching for carpet that was originally installed by the Avalon Flooring team. Our carpet stretching services are available for a fee. Call your store associate or local showroom for details.

Yes, we sell custom runners for your staircases. We also carry a selection of wood-look stair treads that coordinate well with our flooring options. We do not carry carpet stair treads at this time.

Yes they do! They ask customers to come tot he showroom first and make selections on materials so that the estimator who comes to the home knows what they are measuring for
Yes, we offer free measuring services for our customers. Once a customer visits a showroom or completes a virtual consultation and makes selections, one of our professional estimators will visit the home to properly measure the space for the selected materials.
Yes, we can install new products from our showrooms with our certified installers. Avalon Flooring installations are always completed by insured subcontractors who understand the latest installation methods for all of our products for smooth installation in your home.
