Really cool park. We went on a windy day but the park and lake were nice along with the staff.

Everything was under construction and yet no signs to or post of the park website that things would be a mess here. The playground was under construction and trash was everywhere. We just stopped to have a quick lunch and we left. Hopefully in the future they can clean this park up

Really nice and clean. Well Run Park. Good Rangers patrolling. Safe. Fishing is pretty good too. I've only caught two my whole life that were any larger than the Bluegill I caught today. Please leave a donation in the Box coming in. To help keep the park stay clean & well-maintained for others. Here's an idea. Put your business card around the cash you put in there and they'll know who's in the park. If you ever got stuck or etcetera, it would help them contact you to see if you're all right. There are spots you can fish not inside the park that don't close at 6. But just remember they don't have the same security that you'll have inside the park. Really nice facilities.. good clean picnic areas and picnic tables. nice gazebo at the end of the pier... A natural but nice boat launch. I have now used thus multiple times... , They have Little Jon boats there. You can rent them to fish. Remember: The better condition you leave these things and, the better life will be for yourself and others when you come again. // Update. Brad & Russ are the park rangers, and they Are the most helpful guys you would ever want to meet. They keep a sharp eye out on the property. I have used a little John boats repeatedly and recently and they are terrific with Trolling motors, paddles and life preservers available with them. An unheard of VALUE! Somebody broke a glass to the office Recently and I happen to know that this park runs strictly off of private donations. Please help take care of the park while you're here, So we can all continue to enjoy it... / 8-15-2022, continues to be one of my favorite places for R&R and fishing m Caught a nice bullhead catfish today...
