To get here you have to cut through a neighborhood after winding your way past the steel plant. The boat ramp itself is part of the Cayce Riverwalk so it gets some traffic from cyclists and pedestrians. The area is patrolled by the police and there are cameras and an emergency call box. The ramp itself is nice and wide with two lanes.

Yea
It depends on many things. This river changes constantly, you can get stuck on sand bars if you don't know the river. If unfamiliar with this river the ability to read the channel by the shape and current to be safe. The type of boat is also a factor.
Kind of depends right now its up cause they are running water but normally this time of year is very low you can walk across the river cause it's only about 2 foot deep in some places and can be shallower than that
