I am writing this review only because this is the second time this has happened to me and my child. First, I am extremely grateful for what Helping hands is able to provide and I am upset that I have to complain. The two times I’ve been here, half of my food was rotten or expired. Fortunately, I received other foods that were able to feed us but the fresh foods were so rotten that they were not even salvageable. You can only go once a month and if the foods are rotten or expired, we can’t eat them and again, we are without food. I mentioned it as delicately as I could to the worker the second time and she made a face and still gave us rotten and expired food. It’s very unfortunate because it’s not edible. That’s the reason we are there.

Yes. Hannah's house in moncks corner sc or contact changed lived ministries in moncks corner. One program is for men and the other woman. They can help or direct you. God bless.
Just drop by and fill out a volunteer form. Teens have to have adult supervision. But they are only open from 9 am until 11:30 weekdays so not really an option during the school year.
The best place to go for that is to the Berkeley County office for food stamps. You can fill out the application right there and turn it in.
