I would give zero stars if possible. We have been trying to get in touch with them for literally over two months to get a prescription refill of heart medication. The kind of medicine you should never stop cold turkey or you risk medical issues. We have called multiple times a week, every week, for literally ten weeks. No one has ever answered the phone. When their mailbox isn't full we leave a voicemail message. No one has ever called us back. Two weeks ago he ran out of the medication and I went physically to the office. They took my number and said they would have the doctor call us. Guess what never happened? We already have an appointment set up with a new doctor we're waiting on, since we will never use them again. Additionally, when he first saw this doctor, we suspected allergies. The doctor did a scratch test, and said he was allergic to practically everything, and put him on a lot of meds. The meds didn't help so he went to a specialist, who looked at the results of the original test and was shocked. Apparently my husband showed a reaction to the control sample, which has no allergens and should never react; this means the whole test was compromised and he wasn't allergic to ANYTHING, and somehow the original doctor didn't know this. They don't know what they're doing, and he was on unnecessary meds for over a year. Stay away from this practice.

NP Amanda Dudley is my primary care. She is kind, helpful and knowledgeable. My previous doctor left the clinic a few years ago, and I was so nervous that I would not be able to find quality again. Thank you so much for the top notch care and for proving all my fears wrong Nurse Amanda!!

I am a long-time patient of Dr. Gabriel's, at least until this morning (8/12/22). SC Internal Medicine used to be a great practice, but their level of personal attention and patient care has gone way downhill. They've apparently rapidly expanded their number of regular patients but haven't expanded their staff accordingly. I came in this morning for a routine physical with one of the PA's. I was 12 minutes late getting there, but I called ahead to tell them I would be a little late and they said no problem, as long as I got there within 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment time (9:30). I arrived in the office at 9:42 (12 minutes late). They took my insurance card, charged me the co-pay for the visit, gave me a bunch of paperwork to update and said I would be seen. Then, about 10 minutes later, they called me up to the front desk and said I would have to reschedule "because I came in late" and the provider was now unable to see me. This is typical lately of my experience with SC Internal Medicine. I have also had problems getting them to call back for prescription refills. Dr. Gabriel is a great Dr., if you can ever get an appointment with him- hard to do these days. I am now looking for another practice where I am treated like a human being instead of just another revenue stream. If you want personal treatment, you're better off at your local doc in the box.

The staff are very nice and make you feel welcomed there in the office. In Meeting Dr. Lauren Francis, it was a sheer delight. She is very nice and looking forward to working with her about my weight problem. It will be a great joy to get these pounds off and she really makes me believe I can do it with her help. Keep me in your prayers that this will be a great success story.

I've been trying to get through to the office for over3 hrs and all I get is a Fast busy signal. Is there something wrong with your number
Not sure, have you called them and asked about it? I'm a patient there but haven't had that problem!
Hey, Cassie & Gigi-- I hope whatever experiences you had, you have since asked for some resolution by personally contacting the practice manager/ment. Having had 40 years experience with things and peple and practices medical, SCIM is about the top of the list of organized, helpful staff. Most conflicts between patients/ consumers and medical personnel are readily resolved by cordial face to face.
