The only campground we will stay in when in Sutton. Sites are great and it's just a great place to relax and unwind they don't have internet but that's what we like to unplug and decompress

Beautiful campground, nice people, but fair warning there is no cell service there!!! Like none at all!!! Great for a get away but don't expect to be able to stream movies or upload your beautiful pictures till you go back home. Clean, beautiful and spacious!!! Reasonably priced, and small store 1/4 mile away for camping gear/charcoal, milk ect.

I am very disappointed with the corp at Sutton, we were told that it is going to be a reserve able camp ground, we have been camping there since the 60s started with Brock run Love the place. But it should be a first come camp ground. People has been there camping and had to pack up and move because someone had reserved that same spot for 1 night. This isn't right for the locals that keep the place running

Have been camping here for many years....very disappointed this trip.When we arrived there was no one at check in & only a sign that said upper campground was open? We set up on site 30(left of bathhouse) as we saw people in the area close to 1st bathhouse & people in full hookup area.We had been set up for over 1.5 hrs & the host stopped & told us we had to move, this site was closed & they would be shutting off water & electric??.They would be tearing down the bathhouse and it would be a dusty mess, yet there were 2 campers on the other side of bathhouse??? He said there were signs up, no we drove around and couldn't find any .Later we saw a park ranger posting signs.A small sign was posted on the side of bathhouse stating 1 - 30 was open and 31 to ?. For some reason both bridges to the full hook- up side are both closed? There is also random barbed wire along the new bridge, very dangerous to children.They need signs at front of campground stating which sites & bathrooms are open & you need to turn right if you are wanting electric only & go straight if you are wanting full hookups & a bathroom. We saw a lot of campers going all the way to top of campground & circling back around, just not sure where to go. We never saw the host after the day we checked in? We saw a volunteer, she didnt seem to know what was going on either( but she was nice and friendly) On the playground there is equipment that have chains that are to be in the ground but are unattached & accident waiting to happen.The grass needed mowed in a big way.There was a lady there from Colorado and she said what a gem this campground is( she was 1 of the people confused about sites open & needed a bathroom as she was in a teardrop) Yes we agree it is a gem but one that needs a little more TLC and clear signs!! Still never found out why we were asked to move off the site?, its a lot of work when you are totally set up
