We live here and you have no right to our property. Cant wait for our solar panels as well. Come clean up the mess, low life!!!! We had great experiences with Dominion .They should have bought them out

Power rarely goes out. They also donate a lot of useful items to local low-income services; Such as thousands of LED light bulbs for places like Habitat for Humanity REstores and thrift shops.

Our neighborhood decided to ask Duke to turn off our street lighting (4 lights). It took 2 months for Duke to finally discontinue this service; in March 2021. After that, Duke continued to send a monthly bill to our address for the service that was turned off. When we called Duke to ask them to stop billing, they responded by sending their contractor out to turn off the street lighting two more times. Both times, the contractor confirmed the service was discontinued in March 2021. But the bills keep coming, each month an increased charge. Multiple calls plus a letter to Duke… it’s been 13 months, but the bills still come. Since Duke is a public utility, we are forced to deal with them. Duke has no reason to fix their problems. They have no reason to properly service their customers. So, they don’t.

I give this power company -0!! 2 times they have excepted my early payment, then taken it on the due date!! Stealing from me as if I’m Rich!! I’ve called this time 3 times now and they want to keep it til next time!! I’ve never accounted for 2 payments in my planning for payment and I’m also not on automatic payments… what happens next month!
