We recently purchased a stackable washer/dryer set at Home Depot. Though they had zero in stock they were able to tell us when they would be available and when we could take delivery unlike their competitor down the street. We purchased the unit it came with FREE delivery and install. EVERYONE was so helpful, polite and professional. The sales girl 👧 knew her job and was quick and thorough. She knew exactly EVERYTHING we'd need, in advance. The delivery men were professional, neat and best of all ON TIME ⏲️ and quickly and neatly installed the units. Throughout the process, From purchasing to delivery/install their communications were EXCELLENT! I highly recommend Home Depot above ALL OTHER appliance stores. If I could give them 10 stars I certainly would. 09/29/2022 Just purchased a new Samsung, glass top, stand alone, smart, electric range today. I was fortunate to be able to deal with the same young woman I previously purchased my stackable laundry units from. Again it was a pleasant encounter and an efficient and quick transaction. They deliver tomorrow. I saved hundreds as compared to Jeff Lynch Applinces. How's that for GREAT service?

I needed to share my recent experience with Home Depot as a comparison with their competitor Lowes. I recently purchased an appliance with Lowes a month ago and it is still sitting in my kitchen uninstalled. I recently visited Lowes to purchase an item Home Depot did not have , this was my experience. Item was purchased online. I decided to purchase 2 small items which took me forever to locate, with not 1 employee approaching to help. I go to customer service to check out and was told my item was in a locker and I would have to just follow directions to pick up on my phone. Ok..OK... never did this, not that intimidating but NO effort to assist. I needed to check out. Would customer service do it, oh no, I was told they DONT check out, even though there were 3 people twiddling their thumbs!!! So I have to go opposite side of store to check out, walk outside, then come into main entrance to get my " locker" package. My recent experience at home depot: Walked in to look at plumbing supplies. Walked past 2 isles and and approached by employee. Found my items. Employee asked questions about my project, offered advice and future help if needed. Went to customer service to pick up online order. Was assisted by not 1 but 3 employees helping me, escorting me and my item back to 1st employee to assist with cutting small pvc pipe I ordered online. It was cumbersome but not heavy. I have no gray hair and capable of the load. AND was brought back to customer service to check out the few other items. Great job Home Depot! You have definitely won over this customer. I will NEVER step foot in Lowes again.
