Racist theater, always has been. They only play certain movies, seats are old and cramped no leg space your knees will definitely touch the seats in front of you. Would’ve gave zero stars if that was an option.

They are adding a downstairs restroom. As of now the only restrooms are on the second floor.
They are fair they are not just wood they have cushion on them just old its a old theatere
Near the Church, the roadside parking spots across the street near the crosswalk, or on the flip side of the construction.
The Church & Main Street, as mentioned above are the best options. The theatre's dedicated parking lot is a bit of a maze.

I've been to this theater many times with my kids. It's an old theater but it's not dirty at all! I recommend going here.

Popcorn is cooked fresh on site with butter. Extra butter can be added if chosen. They also have popcorn- salt available for your taste. Kannapolis' BEST popcorn!
They Usally do show popular movies within a few days of its realise date.

The 18th of October. Also to find out when a movie is no longer on.. you can go on google and search gem theater. At the top where it shows show times there will be a spot under it to show more showtimes...after that click the drop down menu at the top of the time to show other days/times. That way you can see when it stops playing on that date.
The GEM normally doesn't run horror movies.
