Great spot on the reservoir. The folks working were accommodating in recommending a tandem kayak as a single person due to being over the weight limit for the single kayaks they have on site. I appreciated that recommendation. Though I do wish they’d charged the single kayak rate as we were still paying for two rentals (myself and my guest). Some sit-on top kayaks could help to have on-site for larger outdoorsy folks. Suggested route exploration or more overview of some safety for the area would have been helpful. Online booking was easy.

We spent a lovely afternoon here this past weekend. Our tandem kayak was in good shape and the staff were very nice and provided us with clear instructions. Def will consider going back before summer’s over!

If you don’t have a kayak, you can definitely got it from Flatwater Paddle! The staff is welcoming and friendly. They provided clear directions, instructions, life jacket, everything that you need to enjoy this reservoir. Also, the most important to me, they are PET FRIENDLY!! My dog enjoy soo much! The reservoir has a lot of space to explorer and relax. I highly recommend is you would like to do something different on spring/summer/fall!

Hi there, if you have your own gear and are just visiting the park, you don't need to book a reservation with us. If your friends want to rent, we highly recommend booking in advance, as we often sell out. Let us know if you have any other questions!
