I never write reviews, but I had the most ridiculous experience today. The Rocky Point PF admittedly is not my home gym and I don’t have a black membership card to go wherever I want, but up until today I’d been coming to this location a number of times since the summer began with my regular $10 a month membership, always signing in at the front desk, and no one had ever said anything to me about not being able to work out there. Today I came in, signed in at the front desk where there were workers present, went into the locker room, put my things away, walked out of the locker room over to the abs section, and picked out my weights to start working out with when a woman who worked there, I don’t know whether she was a manger or not, came up to me and went on the most bizarre tirade, accusing me of knowingly coming into the gym despite my membership being declined at the front desk (I didn’t know this since nobody said anything and it doesn’t come up on your phone when your membership has been declined as far as I’m aware) saying that I needed to leave. I asked her why I couldn’t just stay for the day and she claimed it was against company policy and would therefore be a liability on the company’s behalf since I wasn’t at my home gym and didn’t have a black membership card, to which I responded that no one had said anything to me about that before today. She continued to insist that I needed to leave and acted like I was not welcome at all on the premises, all because I didn’t have the correct membership to work out with there. She kept saying the only way I could stay was if I switched my membership to the Rocky Point location. I just decided to walk out quietly and as I did she thanked me for abiding by their policy and for my cooperation. The fact that I was there for a total of five minutes and she hunted me down in the gym to tell me all of this was obscene, but while I am fully aware that I was in the wrong, this woman being rude to me and causing an uncomfortable scene like I was disturbing the peace when I was merely minding my own business in a half-empty gym just trying to work out was not appreciated on my behalf.

Excellent gym, certainly one of the best in Malta. It was divided into two levels, where in the first we find the various tools, weight lifting and everything for cardio.
