Beautiful lake with a couple good disk golf courses here too. Also has some nice camping.

New Hogan Damn is a tremendous recreational area in the motherlode area of the Sierra Nevada Foothills, near Valley Springs. Boating, fishing, hunting, biking, horse trails, picnic/campground, but for me, two 18-hole disc golf courses are what make it an attraction for me. In addition, wildlife aplenty. Come find out about New Hogan Lake and Recreation area.

If you're a newbie like me, it's a great place to practice. The boat ramp is wide, so it's possible to do a u-turn, then back right up into the ramp. Doesn't get any easier.
