Over the years I've made many stops at Cracker Barrel around the country and this visit stands out as the worst. This place has major issues in the back of the house. A one hour ticket time for a small party is in unacceptable. The wait staff was pleasant and the food came out hot. We arrived at 1210 on a Sunday and checked in on their app which gave a 30 min wait which was expected during peak time. The app was way off we sat down over 1 hour later at 115p to a dining room at 25% capacity. During our wait we noticed numerous parties walk out. The wait staff seemed pleasant but understandably frazzled. We ordered our food at 125p and didn't receive our order until 220p. The food was the standard fare and arrived acceptably hot. A quick stop off of the interstate turned into a 2 and a half hour ordeal, especially since we were traveling with a hungry toddler. I understand staffing shortages are a norm but this was unacceptable. I will be following up with an email to cracker barrel corporate.

The waitress was great. The cook could sure use some lessons. The scrambled eggs was runny and half cooked. The fried apples still had the peel on them and there was a stem in it. Paying closer attention would be great. Would probably suggest going to another location.

My family loves their fried chicken. I love getting vegetables. I grew up eating lot of vegetables daily and if I had my way each meal would have 3-5 Vera Lea but since I would be the only one eating them I only cook like that occasionally. So when I go here I’m in heaven. I love all the choices. I love thei cabbage and green beans. My daughter and I both love their fried apples. It’s like the kind my granny use to make and I make at home. Their Turkey and gravy is really good too. Almost everything is good.I’m not a huge fan of their biscuits but beyond that I love the food. We also always have to shop the store for a treat. I almost always find something nice. I bought clearance salt and pepper shakers this visit. They are adorable. Definitely would recommend this restaurant. Great for a family meal together or breakfast.

I got the vegetable plate, with greens, beans, macaroni and cheese and fried apples and a side of cornbread. It was absolutely delicious! The waitress was kind and courteous. I like that, before I was even finished with my drink she was already coming with the second one.
