This rating is for the assistance I received from a Walgreens manager, and not necessarily for the store itself. On July 28th, I went to the Walgreens in Mableton to purchase some at home Covid tests. They did not have the more affordable brands and so I ended up buying them (2) at $23.99 each. However, when I went to Target, I was able to purchase them for $9.99 each. As a result, I went this location to return them, as it was closer to me at the time. During the process, I was asked by the associate if I wanted it back on my debit card, I answered yes but then was quickly told that she was unable to do so and she proceeded to give me a store card. I asked if this could be reversed and she said no; I suspect she had made a mistake. I even tried to speak with a manager but he also said nothing could be done. Unsatisfied, I called Walgreens customer service and put in a complaint. I received a call from Lenzi (a Walgreens manager for this Austell location) a few days later (August 1st). At first, she said it would be difficult to do, but she still spent countless time trying to find the best solution i.e. return my money to me as I had initially wanted. In the end, after a lot of back and forth, Lenzi was able to do what others had told me could not be done. I just want to recognize and applaud her for great customer service. Instead of taking the easy way out (saying it couldn't be done without at least looking into the matter), she took her time to see how best she could assist me. I hope to encounter more managers like Lenzi. Thank you again for all your help!

I took a covid rapid test and after 2 days I still haven't received my results. The pharmacy techs are so unorganized. I will stick with the Mableton location for now on. Never had this issue.

I called to see what time they close and was told 7:00pm. When I got there it was 6:20pm. I started putting my information on the computer.The health care person said we close at 7pm and I have a 6:30 appointment. Do not put your name in the system, I will sign you in manually if my 6:30 does not show up. I said ok and I waited! I looked at the clock and it was 6:45pm.The health care worker at this location said to me I will give my 6:30pm appointment about 5 more minutes and enter your information in manually. 6:50pm came and she asked for my identification and insurance card. Then she said won't allow me to put you formation in manually. In my opinion she was ready to get off of work . She had 40 minutes to go . If they don't won't to work those hour let someone else who cares about their job and appreciates the patients that come there for service.
