If you have an Emergency…this is NOT the place. TRUST the reviews…I should have. Keeping my dog in the waiting area for an hour and a half with her eye wide open out of her head with constantly being told 10 min…15 min more. I even called ahead to make sure I should bring her in 45 min before. The triage nurse told me you better stay here you won’t find care quicker elsewhere when I asked how much longer. Almost lost her eye due to them not being honest just to keep me there. My dog is okay after all this - because I know caring pet owner are reading this.

Excellent experience. My dog was sick, and they were able to see her on a Sunday when no one else was able to help. The emergency vet was knowledgeable and compassionate. Highly recommend!

On 08/07/2022 I took my pet Roxie to the Emergency vet because she had severed her carpal paw. She received Stitches to reattach her carpal paw. Today, exactly 2 weeks later the Stitches reopened and looks ad though nothing has been healed. Earlier I called the vet to see if i can have the procedure redone ( considering that I paid a $1300 vet invoice. The past two weeks I have followed procedure by keeping my pup caged up and mostly inactive so that her Stitches would heal) I was told to bring her in to see Dr. Nancy Vail. I made it very clear that I will not pay another bill as I followed the doctors advice. Follow up to the comment. The cut never healed. Took her to another vet and was told that NorthStar did a very poor job lucky the other vet was able to use surgical glue and thanks to him roxie was able to heal properly

Terrible customer service. Hadn’t changed in over 3 years. By far the worse out of all the emergency centers out there. Will always go to mt laurel or red bank instead

Why is there staff so rude in caring and inconsiderate towards people and so afraid of animals

We keep going there with our 2 dogs because they seem very knowledgeable and helpful. Over 2 years, we haven't experienced anything like what you have written. Sorry to hear of your experience.

This facility is a 24hr Emergency Hospital for animals. They only deal with emergencies not routine surgery and care.

Can they mail you a bill or are dues paid before animal leaves hospital?

Amy Muise | Sep 30, 2017
Duty Raab | Sep 30, 2017

they can mail you a bowl or email you a bill but be careful because I was in the same situation then my dog needed a second surgery they force me to pay that bill off and then they didn't even do the surgery so they basically pulled a very good car on me I will never go back to their hospital again they also deny veterans discounts
