This restaurant is located on Solomon Pond just off I-290 in Northborough, MA. We sat on the patio at the back of the restaurant with a great view of the pond. It was a beautiful evening and we couldn’t have picked a better place to eat. The meal was so delicious. We started with the caprese antipasto. The tomatoes and basil were fresh, the mozzarella was creamy with just the right amount of balsamic vinegar. For the main course, my wife had the chicken parmigiana while I had the veal cacciatore special with sensational homemade cavatelli. We finished with dessert, she having the mango gelato and me having the triple chocolate cake. Both were the perfect ending. The service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive but not obtrusive. She did a very nice job given the patio was busy. We were very impressed by the owner who also checked in with the diners and helped the staff with the service. All in all, we had a wonderful meal and night out.

Bad service really slow, broken table and food was cold

we came when they first opened , it was ok … we have been back for apps and drinks but dinner this time and it blew us away . service, drinks and food ! all amazing

My wife and I went for dinner on a Friday night. We were seated in a booth in the bar area, with some very loud and boisterous customers; it was hard to hear ourselves think, much less converse. The food was generally good, although the crust of the bread was somewhat burned, and we were only served two small slices of it. Our server disappeared for long stretches of time, including at least fifteen minutes after telling us that our entrees were ready and that she would bring them right out. The prices were also substantially higher than indicated in their online menu. For $100 for two, not even including wine, I would expect better. [Re: response from owner: No "smear" was intended, simply an objective report of our experience. If I had intended a "smear", I would have rated it as one star instead of three. As for the noise, this was our first time there. My wife discovered, going to the restroom, that there is at least one dining area separate from the bar. If we had been offered a choice between the bar area and "someplace a little quieter", this would have been a more positive review. I also understand that adequate staffing is a challenge these days, but the time we spent waiting for the server really was excessive, and I can only describe what we actually experienced. It's not intended as a complaint, just a report for others considering previous diners' experiences.]
