When we needed some acrylic for a cabinet rebuild. Sibe Automation (Sibe-R Plastic Supply) came through. They custom cut pieces to specification. When we pulled off the paper mask. the acrylic was simply gorgeous. The pieces fits perfectly. We ordered more for the next cabinet. Sibe was recommended by friends. We did a google search and found Sibe-R Plastic Supply on Ebay, Amazon and a company website. They have great reviews. On Ebay, they have about 70 thousand positive reviews and top seller status. We found them to be friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. No job is too small and every customer is treated like royalty. One hint if you go locally, is to get there by 2 pm for best help with selection. Our cabinet installer, was very impressed with both the quality of the acrylic and the great prices.

They tried there best to get an acrylic order to me but it was pulled from Amazon so Amazon sent it back multiple times it's not there fault so I gave them a high rating because they tried so hard to make sure I got the product .

Questions & Answers

I want to adhere a strip of metal shim stock to a 4" x 16" piece of Sintra. I'm not sure this is the best plastic option for this project. I am considering using hot-melt glue to attach the metal. Any other materials I should consider instead?

Because the materials are very different and typically use different adhesives you may need to do some testing to determine which will be the best option. If the hot glue doesn't melt the Sintra that may be a good option. We do not fabricate anything that uses adhesives on this particular material so we do not have a lot of information to offer in this specific case. Thank you for your message.

Is 1/4 Polycarbonate available in 24 × 48 inch size?
