Every tattoo, even did two in one day, has been awesome. I worked with Shannon last, though every artist I’ve worked with at Red Rocket Tattoo, including receptionists has been nothing short of caring, professional, creative and just overall awesome! Best shop in NYC!

Got tattooed by Andre on August 27th and had an amazing experience! Everyone was so nice and professional, I 100% recommend. Thank you again!

I visited Red Rocket a week ago and I'm happy to say that my new tattoo is healing nicely, and I love it more and more each time I look at it! The artist, Andres Flu, was a pleasure to work with - he made me super comfortable throughout the entire process of coming up with my design and getting inked. I felt like I was in good hands all the way through. My session took about five hours so I did have plenty of time to observe the comings and goings of the shop! It's a clean shop, and the staff/artists were all friendly and treated their clients with respect. It also seems like the artists offer a diverse scope of specialties so depending on what you're looking to get inked, someone here is likely going to be a good fit for you. Thanks to folks at Red Rocket for making me feel comfortable and super shoutout to Flu for being so awesome and kind!

Passing through New York I wanted a souvenir without having much time. I was very well taken care of by the tattoo artists of this great salon: drawing preparation and awesome tattoo!!!

Hello. We love children but we are an 18 or older establishment. There is adult content here and we have no provisions to watch children while their adult is being tattooed. We prefer not to have children in the studio. Thank you.
Sorry to report we are not wheel chair accessible. But we do take Walk-ins everyday.
Not in New York State. You must be 18, with or without a guardian.
Nope! We take walk-ins every day. If you are looking for a large and/or custom piece, or a specific artist, an appointment may be required. But for relatively small and simple tattoos, we can usually fit you in same-day.
Depends on the size and length of session. But its around $200 an hour for the artists in the shop.
Hi there! Thank you very much for getting in touch! We'd be happy to do these tattoos for you. We do accept walk-ins, which is usually a good option for smaller tattoos. Our shop minimum price is $100 per tattoo. If you have any further questions, please feel free to stop by the shop or give us a call @ (212) 736-3001
I don't think so
No
Here the answer which you can find on their homepage under FAQ: "The short answer is, it depends on the tattoo. There is a minimum price of $100 that applies to all tattoos, no matter how small. Any tattoo that can be completed in a single sitting will be charged at a flat rate that is determined by the artist and is based on the size, placement, and design (complexity) of the tattoo. Larger pieces—anything that takes more than one session to complete—are charged by the hour, at a rate of $200/hour. It is very difficult to estimate how long a multi-session tattoo will take, as it depends on the design, how you sit for the tattoo, etc. Sessions are usually 3-4 hours long and can be scheduled as far apart as you like, so that the cost of the tattoo is spread out over time. For specific estimates or price quotes, please come into the shop and speak to an artist in person. You can also let your artist know if you have a budget, and he or she will keep it in mind in designing the tattoo."
Yes I walked right in :)
Nahh....i didn't use numbing cream...just two days of the cream eucrine and thats all...
Would be best call and speak with one of the artist. Make an appointment.

The minimum price is $100. Size, font and placement will dictate price. We take walk-ins everyday, please come in any time.
It's a bit of both. The size of the tattoo generally determines how long it will take! The hourly rate generally applies to larger pieces. For smaller tattoos, especially if they take less than an hour, the price is determined more by the size/location/level of detail, etc. Also, to make a slight correction to Kaitlin's reply- If the tattoo takes under an hour, it will be anywhere between $100-$200.
