Camp grounds are clean and quiet. The facility has hot water and stock with toiletries. It’s nice that the Farmington river is close to go fishing, it’s also good to be able ride your bikes around the campground. I just wish there wasn’t so much spider in the bathroom. Also the bathroom has a lot of peeling paint on the wall. All the peeling paint and spiders can be removed if they power wash the walls every so often. It’s also very convenient to have fire wood for purchase on site. I would give five stars if it wasn’t for the spiders. We had a great experience overall and will return.

Absolutely love ❤️ going here, so peaceful the river is beautiful, great for fly fishing, great place for a hike in the woods or to just hang by the fire. We like to paint 🎨 rocks and leave them around the fire 🔥 ring for others to enjoy 😊 Nice local restaurants nearby and Dunkin too. Will definitely be back next year.

Well spaced sites, with lots of trees, so it feels like camping despite our cozy travel trailer. The nearby trails were a plus, and we rested at a nearby winery.

Mostly quiet. A little close to the road. Level spots with plenty of space.

Thanks for the info.
Access to the river is very close.
No they do not, just power and plenty of outlets to plug in devices.
Check reserve america app or site. I think so but dbl check...
The campground area of the river is catch and release only. The Farmington has a lot of regs. Check the DEEP website and stop in at Upcoutry Sport Fishing with any questions. From the old footbridge abutments (Barkhamsted) downstream to the Route 219 bridge (New Hartford). This area includes all of the former West Branch Farmington River Trout Management Area: Season: Open year-round. Methods: Barbless hooks only Trout: Catch and Release Only.
Are you open for this season june, july and August?
Memorial day weekend unless this year's schedule is changed. Look up the website for this park.
Yes they are
Reserveamerica.com It's listed under American Legion SF (Hawes)
They don't allow dogs in the cabins. Two dogs per all other sites.
You don't have to, but you will be taking a chance on there not being any spots available. You don't want to have to pack your camping gear and and arrive at the campground to then be told by staff, "sorry, no spots available". Good luck. Go on Reserve America to reserve. Its easy.
Rates differ for weekdays and weekends, also different for in state/out of state guests. You need to call the office. Sorry.
