This is a middle of the road rink. It’s pretty decent, good coaches, but I need to address the elephant in the room: the facility. In the winter, it’s ok. But in the summer… I’ll just leave a picture which should say enough. Besides that, it’s just a good ol hockey rink.

Good place to enjoy skating. Great youth hockey and skating programs.

Awkward! Need to use stairs or an elevator to get to ice level. Hard time keeping the rink cold. Needs a real roof.

No, we do not have the walkers for beginners.
Park? This isn't a park.
Only public, Wednesdays and Sundays for certain hours. It ain't good rink for just skating around.
I wouldn't send 5yr old kid alone to the rink. But kid is 15yr old, can come without parents. Just in case of injury, i would suggest to come with other people.
Check the website
I don't think there's any special holiday those days, so they should be open as usual. You may want to call them to confirm.
If you come early there are 5 or 6 people for good 15 minutes sometimes on the whole rink.
Wednesday: 12 pm - 3:50 pm Sunday: 11:40 am : 2:20 pm You have to check their online master schedule (They keep it updated) at cityicepavilion.com for more information.
No need unless you're hosting a large group or party. Otherwise, times are open for skating per the posted hours. Pay when you arrive. Super easy.
Do you have open skate this Saturday? And how early are they closing?
