IHOP

hello guys

My 14 yo son wanted to try IHOP so we went got to Merchants Dr at 10:45. I ordered the sampler appetizer when she handed us menus and took our drink order. She only had 3 tables( including ours) yet I had to ask where was the appetizer when our food came. She blamed the computers & asked if I still wanted it. I said I wouldn’t have ordered it if I didn’t want it. She brought my son crepes instead of pancakes and I had to ask for syrup. The sampler came really fast so it was forgotten and refried in the fryer bc the cheese had come completely out of a couple of mozzarella sticks and the chicken was almost burnt. She said no charge. I would have rather had it fresh and edible. We didn’t eat it. It looked awful and she then had attitude. The table was sticky, the coffee carafe on the table wasn’t cleaned, dead fly in the window sill at the table and the window sill is rotting from moisture or termites. I don’t care if mistakes are made if they can be fixed and you’re nice about it but as soon as I asked about the appetizer she took it too personally. When our drinks needed refilled she just brought them in to go cups. As a former server I would have tipped her better if she knew how to handle her mistake. I wasn’t rude to her so I didn’t expect her to be rude to me. My son said the food was ok but doesn’t want to ever go back.

First time at this location and it was a great experience! There were only 2 other parties seated during my visit so the service was awesome! The food tasted great and our waitress Samantha was very nice and took great care of us! It’s been a long time since I’ve been to an IHOP and I’m glad that I decided to stop in today!

Food was great. But when led to our table, they had just cleared dishes off, didn't wipe off and just sat our menus down on the dirty table. There was a spray bottle and rag on another table so I grabbed it and had to clean off our own table and benches. They were filthy. Waitress was great tho.

Best place to eat in the world. Been coming here for the past 15 years and enjoy the amazing variety of foods you can pick from. I always get the eggs and grits with steak tips sautéed in mushrooms and onions. Very good. I highly recommend and wonderful staff. Very good.!!!!!!
