Just ate here tonight to celebrate a birthday. The food was cooked very well. We tried a big variety of dishes and I would say everything ranged from above average to excellent. The salmon was phenomenal, the best main of the three that I tried. The tiramisu was good, but the ladyfingers could’ve used a little more rum/coffee—personal preference. Great ambiance. Very nice layout for the dining area. All in all a solid restaurant. I’m glad Knoxville has this in its repertoire.

Service was great. I arrived about 25 mins before the rest of my party, and they allowed me to sit at our table already. It was earlier in the evening and wasn't too crowded yet. Drinks and apps came fast. Food was perfectly cooked.

Walked in without a reservation and was accompanied within a reasonable 20-30 minutes on a Saturday night (in fairness, there was a home game which probably opened up some tables). The food was superb and the wait staff was on their game. They made my 7 year old feel special while also providing top tier service to two very tired parents. I will be back next time I'm in town with my wife for another wonderful meal. The polenta and meatballs were a warm hug in a bowl...by far the best meal ordered between the three of us.

My partner and I came here for our anniversary and we were absolutely thrilled with the choice. After spending a lot of time lamenting what restaurant to go to, we settled on Emilia. First things first the atmosphere is great. Really nice open area with a warm and ambiance. The lighting was perfect and the layout of the room was great. We also felt very comfortable with the distancing between tables. Our server (super disappointed I cannot remember his name because he was GREAT) was relaxed, welcoming, and very friendly. He offered great recommendations and didn't lead us astray. He was also very attentive and checked in frequently. The FOOD. It was delicious. We started with salmon tartare and warm olives. I could have easily eaten half a pound of those olives and the salmon tartare was refreshing, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. My partner had the mushroom, pine nut, and broccolini pasta while I had the gnocchi. The broccolini pasta was perfectly cooked, and had a delightful woody flavor to it from the pine nuts. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked with soft pillows of gnocchi and a deliciously smoky sauce. Again, everything was perfectly seasoned. We had the chocolate sorbetta for dessert and...wow...it was a perfect end to the meal. Not too sweet, amazingly chocolately, and the cherries and chocolate that accompanied it were delicious. Start to finish, this meal was amazing. We would go here again in a heart beat. Try the Ode to Kimball House cocktail! Absolutely delicious.
