Went to Tupelo Honey for lunch in Market Square. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our server was training but was excellent. I had an Ashville hot chicken sandwich that was fried and juicy. Excellent sauce and really good pickels on it. The mac & cheese was gooey and cracker or breadcrumb coated. Very good southern mac & cheese. I got a cup of chicken tortilla soup that was out of this world. Full of chicken and tortilla strips. Very flavorful but not overpowering. Mom and the girls had shrimp po' boys that they raved about. We all had sweet tea that the server kept full. We finished the meal with a couple of very decadent banana puddings. I'm pretty sure it may have had cream cheese. Unbelievable banana pudding! This is a beautiful restaurant on the corner of Market Square and is a must stop if your visiting. I highly recommend Tupelo Honey.

I would highly recommend getting reservations (which is simple on something like OpenTable) because it was very busy on the weekend. The restaurant is on a great corner of Market Street with plenty of outdoor seating but the inside has a fantastic atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the biscuits as an appetizer. They were huge, fall apart, and fantastic with the accompanied blueberry jam. I had the mac-n-cheese waffle with hot chicken. Normally such an extravagant dish would be excessively overloaded but here it was a reasonable portion that wasn't overwhelming. The chicken wasn't --spicy-- but had enough heat to be flavorful. The Cobb salad was also an excellent choice and I would definitely recommend their garlicky ranch!

Tupelo is pretty darn good, I went with a large group of friends to try out their chicken and waffles and they were amazing! Definitely make sure to make a reservation in advance, or else you’ll find yourself waiting for awhile. My main quam, was the price for the food. I ended up paying ~$18 before tips for just my meal. For the price it’s hard to justify it, but definitely worth visiting once.

Oh man! This is the second time I've been to a Tupelo, first time in Knox. Their Mac and cheese waffle (yeah a waffle with Mac made insideee!!) with spicy fried chicken on it. SO GOOD. Their pulled pork Benny is also excellent. Coffee is super under roasted though, only down side. But lots of people like it that way these days. They're wrong, but is what it is. Patio is comfortable with heaters. Service is on point. Go here, you won't regret it!

If you don't want to wait at peak dining hours, yes. Alot of people walk in though.
I don't think they do, it would be a good idea
Masks to enter. They stagger tables and sanitize. Staff wears masks always. Using a digital menu.
