I've had 4 surgeries with Dr Duffy (lap band placement, port revision after pregnancy, gall bladder removal, lap band removal) and he is without a doubt one of the best surgeons in his field. He's very smart, knows what he's talking about, he's honest and to the point. I've been a patient of his since 2009 and I've never had a problem with him or his office. He's not a bubbly person but he's never been rude or short. He takes time to answer all questions. I've never felt rushed or brushed off. I'm planning a revision with him in a few months. As long as Dr Duffy is in practice he will always be my Dr.

He repaired a perforated gastric ulcer in my 19 yo daughter. She had a potentially fatal perforation with peritonitis and he did the right thing and fixed it. The next day she was on a soft diet and is doing well. I recommend him as an excellent choice for laparoscopic surgery and management of an acute abdomen.
